The Lady Chapter, Inc. (TLC) is a 501(c)(3) organization for young adult emerging female leaders (ages 24-37) comprised of c-suite leaders, professional coaches, educators, counselors, and other community volunteers that dedicate their time, expertise and personal resources to advance the mission.
Purpose
The Lady Chapter, Inc. (TLC) is a public benefit nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes.
Specifically, TLC is a bible-based educational, leadership, and personal development resource for young adult ladies between 24-37 years of age.
Mission
Provide leadership training, coaching, mentorship, and educational resources to women (ages 24-37). TLC provides a transformative construct with a high level of Christian discipleship to grow and shape future generations of women leaders, as well as facilitate leadership maturation, community engagement, and life skills competencies.
Our mission is centered around three (3) areas:
VALUES •VIRTUES • VISIONS
We instill VALUES based on core biblical-based beliefs and principles through our programs and services, believing the Lord is more concerned with our motives, faithfulness, and character than cultural norms and pursuits.
We teach VIRTUES serving as character role models and mentors for emerging female leaders to understand the importance of embodying integrity, competence, and Christ-centered qualities in their homes, communities, and workplaces. Additionally, our resources are evidence-based and grounded in a strong foundation of research applicable to the current trends and issues of women (ages 24-37).
We collaboratively explore participants’ VISIONS for every area of their lives—personally, communally, and professionally. We believe leaders are born — and they are made. Therefore, we apply evidence-based leadership theory, methodology, and storytelling to support emerging female leaders in understanding their transformative journey.
TLC focuses its leadership and personal development activities in communities where emerging female leaders are seeking a structured, transformative construct to grow and shape future generations of women leaders.
TLC's activities fall within two main headings: TLC Movement and TLC Leadership Program.
Our multi-faceted approach proves to be effective and provides substantial benefit to the women we serve. TLC connects to education resources and tools that can be used for development and learning in traditional and non-traditional settings.
We conduct activities and provide intervention and prevention programs and resources aimed at educating young women about critical leadership competencies, the importance of personal transformation, emotional intelligence, and Christ-centered accountability.
