Dr. Bobette Brown is a Transformation Architect who has established herself as a personal growth and leadership development champion through her life-changing motivational speaking, coaching, and consulting programs. Her mission is to help people and organizations reach their full potential by providing transitional blueprints to help them experience transformation in their life, business and ministry.

 
 

Dr. Bobette earned her terminal degree from Regent University’s Doctor of Strategic Leadership Program. She is CEO of BGB Enterprises, Founder of transFORmU™ Coaching, Executive Director, The Lady Chapter™, a Certified Executive and Personal Coach, Executive Director on the John Maxwell Leadership Team, Certified Relationship and Human Behavior Consultant, International speaker, Amazon bestselling author, and a proud U.S. Army veteran. The six areas that encompass her passion are represented by the acronym LEAPER: Leadership, Empowerment, Authenticity, Purpose, Equipping, and Relationships.

A former U.S. Army Staff Sergeant (E-6) and 82nd airborne paratrooper, Bobette has a broad and diverse set of leadership experiences derived from having a front-row seat to life and culture in more than 29 states and 23 countries. She has more than 25 years of leadership and customer service experience. Whether speaking or facilitating training sessions for businesses, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations, or the military, she teaches leaders how to raise their market intelligence and develop their staff to be a non-dependent, high-performing team.

A certified Human Behavior Consultant (DISC) and Executive Director on The John Maxwell Team, Bobette is certified to facilitate, speak, and coach individuals and groups in the areas of leadership development and personal growth. Recently, she reached a major milestone when she was selected to speak, before an audience of 2500+ participants, during John Maxwell’s semi-annual conference.

A dynamic and engaging speaker, Bobette, empowers listeners to leverage their experiences to enrich the lives of others. With uncommon transparency, she shares her stories overcoming many personal obstacles, including sexual and physical abuse, and PTSD by showcasing her battle wounds as “badges of honor.” Whether sharing leadership lessons learned from her journey as U.S. Army Paratrooper to Maryland state pageantry, or empowering audiences with her inspiring talks of moving from tragedy to triumph, her message is about embracing change, resilience, and the renewing of the mind.

Lady B, as she is affectionately known, has been honored to speak on stages in non-profit, private and federal government sectors. She has also appeared as a guest on Good Morning Washington (ABC), Good Day Washington (CBS), Trinity Broadcasting Network, Howard University and other motivational platforms. She has authored five books, Jesus Said Come, Be a Water Walker: You Can Defy the Odds!, and Ladies in Waiting: A 31-Day Devotional for Single Ladies. She is also the co-author of Daily Dose of Direction for Women in Business and The Legacy Project: Empowering The Next Generation of Ministry Leaders.

Bobette is also Co-Founder (with her husband of 30+ years, Dr. T. Cedric Brown) of Marriage: The Wholly Hook-up™, which provides biblical marital instruction to “help singles get ready and marrieds keep it steady.” In 2019 she launched “The Lady Chapter™, Inc an IRS designated nonprofit organization. Through its Christ-centered, curriculum-based Leadership Program, young adult women (ages 24-37) are equipped, educated, and empowered to exemplify character, confidence, and competency as 21st-century leaders.

Additionally, she holds a MA degree from Wesley Theological Seminary, a BS degree from the University of Maryland University College, and is a member of the Disabled American Veterans and RAINN Speakers Bureau.

She and her husband reside in Maryland and have two adult sons.
