Stinkin' Thinkin'You have big dreams and the skillset to make your dream a reality. God has given you visions and ideas, but they’ve gone nowhere. Why? Because of Y-O-U. You’ve allowed stinkin’ thinkin’ to come and attack the vision God has given you.

I’m not good enough. What if they don’t like it? So-and-so is already doing this. There’s no way I can make this happen.

God chose you for such a time as this and He has equipped you with everything you need to get the job done. He’s telling you to Be Bold and Courageous and He’s walking with you every step of the way, but you need to TRUST HIM. You need to be confident in your talents and abilities, but you also need to be in confident in the God you serve.

Why would an omniscient God give you a vision that He would not equip you to bring forth? He’s waiting for you to show up. Any God-sized idea is going to take God’s power to manifest. So, show up and use everything that He has placed in your hands to make your dreams a reality and let Him fill in the gaps where you are weak.

This week, do these 3 Things:

    1. Ask God to allow you to see yourself as He sees you. Oftentimes, we allow our low self-esteem to be bigger than our BIG God. He made you in His image, that means you’ve got it going on! He doesn’t look at you and see “not good enough”. He looks at you and sees “fearfully and wonderfully made”. He looks at you and sees a glimpse of Himself.
    2. Write the vision. The Bible says, write the vision and make it plain. You’ve been given this dream, this vision from God. Write it out. Then, write out the steps needed to make it a reality. Sometimes, we get stuck because we get overwhelmed by the magnitude of what’s before us. But, actually writing out the vision and breaking it down into manageable steps will make it that much more achievable.
    3. Get accountable. Not everyone can be trusted with your dreams, so don’t go around broadcasting your every move. However, you need to find one person that you can trust to hold you accountable. This person should be someone that will hold you to what you say you’re going to do and loves you enough to be honest with you and to encourage you.

Don’t let fear, doubt or any other stinkin’ thinkin’ stop you from being all that you are called to be. Nothing is impossible. Trust God. Trust yourself and remember that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
