It’s almost the end of the year and if you’re like me, you can’t even believe that it’s already November. You set so many goals for this year and have only two months left to achieve them. Doubt may have crept into your mind and perhaps you’re wondering, “Is this God’s will for me? Was this really supposed to happen?” Perhaps you’re at the point where you want to give up all together; you quit internally on a daily basis and are ready to just chalk up your goals and restart in 2017.
There are people waiting to see you do just that–give up! They want you to fail. They want you to throw in the towel. But, I encourage you to keep pressing toward the prize and stay in position. I know you are tired of pushing. I know you’ve waited too long and have endured too much, but use it! Use the negativity from the doubters, use the time and pain you’ve invested to motivate you to finish.
Sometimes, it’s easy to forget the promise and focus on the pain. It’s easy to go back to that risk-free, position of comfort. We don’t really believe God is going to bring to fruition what He said; it just seems unfathomable. There’s too much pain involved to get to the promise. But, you know what they say, no pain, no gain. Remember that pain is going to bring forth mission, purpose, fulfillment, destiny, dreams and ambitions.
Visualize your promise being fulfilled. Understand what belongs to you. Take mental and physical notes and continue to move in the direction of your purpose. God is not a man that He should lie; whatever He promised you, will come to pass. Hang tough and keep pushing.
